A Message from UUDAN — the Unitarian Universalist Advocacy Network
Unitarian Universalists are urged to join Governor John Carney for a series of community town halls with members of the General Assembly – both Democrats and Republicans – being held across the state.
The governor will join local legislators to discuss his priorities as outlined in his State of the State address, the Fiscal Year 2020 budget proposal, and to listen to ideas from members of the public.
UUs all over the country are getting more involved in local legislative actions and so should we! To become more active in the legislative process, we need to inform ourselves about the issues and advocate for progressive change from our grounding and values in a liberal religious faith.
Call your UU friends and go together to your town hall meeting. Here’s the complete schedule of Town Hall Meetings. The meeting closest to the church is at the Talleyville Fire Hall on Thursday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m.
