Delaware UU Congregations Banding Together

All of the Delaware UU congregations are participating in a postcard signing campaign to support SB 163 which bans the sale of assault weapons.

If you are not able to fill out a card at a Sunday service, you can participate in the campaign virtually by clicking the link below.

Virtual Postcard Campaign

Volunteers will transcribe the information you enter to create a hand written postcard to your Senator.  The first round of postcards will be hand delivered to individual Senators on Lobby Day–April 17th.

Following the March for Our Lives and anticipating consideration of significant new gun safety legislation in Delaware, we have invited Dennis Greenhouse, chair of the Delaware Coalition Against Gun Violence legislative fund, to speak about successful legislation at the state level and what’s coming before the General Assembly in April and May.

We will also conduct a postcard campaign in support of SB 163, which would strictly regulate assault-style weapons in Delaware. Come to learn how you can help pass common-sense gun laws that will make our children and communities safer.
