Meeting Will Address Implementation of New Police Plan

Focus on Neighborhood Associations and Groups

The Movement for a Culture of Peace will hold its final Community Forum of the Spring on Saturday, June 13, from 9:00 to 11:00 at Hanover Presbyterian Church. The forum, originally scheduled for June 6, was postponed to await the City of Wilmington’s response to the recommendations of the Governor’s Commission on Public Safety Strategies report, which was issued in April.

The forum  will bring together Mayor Dennis Williams, Police Chief Bobby Cummings, Councilwoman Maria Cabrera, and Commission Member Cassandra Marshall, who also represents the Quaker Hill Neighborhood Association.
